We are excited to be able to have the Gladney Center for Adoption so close to us. They have an event coming up that we have been invited to. Many of us know how long the lines can get at Six Flags. Well they have reserved a night just for Gladney and we have been invited (lucky us!)

The 2010 Gladney Skittle is scheduled for April 29, 2010. The event will be at Six Flags Over Texas from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

We had a wonderful turn out today for our Adoption Education classes! We would like to thank all of those who presented and shared their experiences with adoption. We are excited to welcome these new couples to our FSA and have them be a part of such a great organization!

We look forward to seeing all of you at our events throughout the rest of this year! Look for more posts to come as we have lots of fun activities planned for our area!

Training for new adoptive couples!!

Are you a new adoptive couple? You do not want to miss this training event!
We are going to have some great classes on:
-The adoption process
-Healthy boundaries
-Panel of birth mothers an adult adoptee, and adoptive parents.

You will learn a lot of helpful insights and information about the adoption process and how to navigate through it.
We will provide a light lunch around noon

The training will be held from 8:50am- 3:30pm on Saturday April 10th in the LDS Plano building located at 6545 W. Plano Pkwy
